Rick is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, an Associate of Arts in Bible from Southwestern Christian College, a Master of Arts degree in Religious Studies from Abilene Christian University, a Master of Divinity, (MDiv) from Amridge University, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary. Rick has served as a minister to congregations in Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and California as well as a global missions initiative in Tennessee. Rick has served as a professor of Bible and as Interim Department Chair. He has made presentations for several national business, academic, and social organizations. His professional, pastoral, and academic focus is on Contemporary Theology with an application to theological social analysis…thinking about how the Bible unfolds its truth and application in a diverse world through the process of time and changing eras. Horseback riding, trail hiking, and time at the gym are part of renewing his spirit and restoring his soul.
