It's not just slow cashiers in the check-out lane, it's life. People are in front of us, irritating us with their endless chatter and driving slow. We as a culture get hot and bothered. Is it possible to delay our responses, emotions, judgments, and words? Is patience choosing to delay our participation until we have better facts, more balanced feelings, and know how to rightly respond? Or do we just need to learn to wait well?
